Sister Support Meetups
No More Martyrs hosts monthly meetups that offer support and information. Sister Support Meetups traditionally take place in cities such as Birmingham (AL), Atlanta (GA), Blackwood (NJ) and Washington (DC). During meetups, women come out for encouragement from women sharing their stories over dinner in a welcoming and social environment. Since the onset of Covid-19, we will host our Sister Support Meetups virtually. We encourage you to join us each month to learn recovery strategies for living successfully with mental health concerns and get connected to valuable resources.
Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing and mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. No More Martyrs is excited to offer Mental Health First Aid training. Attend one of our upcoming trainings or contact us to schedule a training near you.
Invite No More Martyrs to Speak
No More Martyrs has experts that present on topics related to race, gender, health equity and mental health. We have experience presenting at large national and international events as well as smaller community-centered events.
