Dr. Richardson speaks on panel titled 'Sex, Drugs and Violence: Reducing Risky Health Behaviors in Young Adult Years. In the evening, Dr. Richardson accepts a Top 40 Under 40 Leader in Health Award during Awards Reception and Dinner.

No More Martyrs launches Sister Speak Suicide Awareness Initiative at an event at Busboys & Poets. Sister Speak is made possible through a partnership with Black Women's Wellness Imperative. During the launch event, panelists shared their experiences and insight. Special guests panelists included T-Kea Blackman of Fireflies Unite, Jessica Gaddy of Nia Noire and Deran Young of Black Therapist Rock.
Thursday and Friday, April 19-20, 2018
Dr. Nadia Richardson travels to the University of Massachusetts-Amherst to facilitate mental health workshops on activism, cultural responsiveness and self care. Altogether, Dr. Richardson spoke to three groups of campus representatives and extended a special invitation to faculty and staff to attend the 2018 Minority Mental Health Awareness Summit.

Dr. Richardson returns to Washington, DC and meets with mental health advocates and licensed professionals for the Washington, DC area to explore strategies for continuing monthly support groups in the area.

Dr. Richardson and Ms. Lanada Williams attend the Mental Health First Aid Instructor Summit at Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. The summit was held in conduction with the National Conference for Behavioral Health.
